Term 3 Week 3 : The Right Use of 999

Hi, do you know why public people and children abuse the 999 call? Well they just think it is fun and they do not respect the police number. We should only call 999 when in need or when other people id=s hurt or a crime happening or going to happen. We should not call 999 for pranks or when you have no transport home. We should make full use of it not call it to make pranks or flirt. The abuse of 999 will affect the police and us when if someone needs immediate help, the police might not be able to attend to the person or the person can't call or get through the line. Imagine that one day your get robbed and someone tried to call the pol;ice bu other people are making pranks and you do not get immediate attention and the theft might escape. Before you call 999, you must be sure you are not playing a prank, flirting, and making full use of the 999 number. Remember the address and remain clam. I think the punishment of abusing 999 is not enough, it is because that other people might lose their lives or other people loses a lot of important things because of some one's playful prank.
